Sleeping Giant Loppet 50km Classic Technique
Start Time: 9:30 am EST
Utilizing the same trail system, the 50 km classic technique event is timed and finishers will be ranked separately from the free technique skiers. The classic event will begin one half hour prior to the free event. An "Icebreaker" clothing prize package from Gear-Up for Outdoors will be presented to the top two male and female finishers. Third place finishers will receive free entry into the 2013 event. There will be age-group awards for the top finisher in each age category. All skiers will receive a 2012 chocolate gold medal! Age 16 and up only.
