Kit Pick-Up

Registration kits, including bibs, timing chips and race day information, must be picked up at the Best Western Plus Nor’Wester Hotel on Thursday March 1 and Friday March 2 between 3:00 and 9:00 pm. After you pick up your kit on Thursday March 1, head to Kamview Nordic Centre to watch the RBC Sprints! The Nor'Wester Hotel Restaurant will be offering a pasta dinner special to skiers on March 1st and 2nd, so you carbo load and pick-up your kit at the same location!

A note to Thunder Bay participants: kits must be picked up at the hotel on March 1 or 2, organizers will not transport registration kits to the event start. Out of town skiers who wish to pick up their kits at the event start must notify organizers by email at: info@sleepingiantloppet.ca.

Wax Clinic

A free wax clinic for all participants will be held at the Best Western Plus Nor’Wester Hotel on Friday March 2 at 7:30pm. Local wax experts will be testing wax during the week with an eye on the week-end weather forecast. Come and hear their recommendations and get some tips on preparing your skis for the Loppet.
