Free skiing for Loppet participants at Kamview

If you are registered for the Loppet, you can enjoy free skiing at Kamview Nordic Centre on Friday March 5 and Sunday March 7.

Thunder Bay Nordic Trails Receives $150,000 from the Ontario Trillium Foundation for a new Pisten Bully!

2010 Sleeping Giant Loppet a golden success!

See you March 3-5, 2011 for an expanded event with a few new twists and turns.

And be sure to mark Saturday March 5, 2011 on your calendar for the 34th year of the Sleeping Giant Loppet.

Whatever your age or ability, you will enjoy the expertly groomed trails and spectacular secenery of Sleeping Giant Provincial Park near Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Families and recreational skiers can take part in the 8 km Mini-Loppet or 20 km event which loops around gorgeous Marie Louise Lake. Serious competitors will be challenged by the 50 km course over the Pickerel Lake and Burma Trails pursuing the $1000 cash prize for the first male and female finishers. With a medium distance 35 km course, an open 50 km event, and a separate 50 km classic category, there's a distance for everyone!
