Whoa-Never skied the Loppet?
Are you a cross-country skier who has never skied the Loppet? Or, have you made the transition from running or cycling to skiing and are looking for a new challenge?
Make 2013 Your Rookie Year!
The Sleeping Giant Loppet is one of Northwestern Ontario's most loved winter events. It's a unique ski festival that takes place in the beautiful Sleeping Giant Provincial Park and there is a distance for skiers of all levels. Our 8km Mini-Loppet is perfect for families, children and rookies. Are you ready to increase your distance or work on your speed? Then, the 20km loop around Marie Louise Lake is for you. The popular 35km Tour is a relaxed event that takes in the scenic vistas and challenging climbs of the Burma Trail. For the ultimate challenge, register for our 50km Classic or Skate distance. This is the Loppet's flagship event and is perfect for elite skiers vying for one of our generous prize packages or citzen racers looking for a PB. Mark March 2nd, 2013 on your calendar and we'll see you at the start of the 36th annual Sleeping Giant Loppet!
